What a beautiful day!

This has to be the most eventful wedding day I've experienced thus far. This couple comes from different religious backgrounds, and they wanted to make sure that both religions were honored on their wedding day.

Part 1: The Catholic Ceremony

Lisette grew up Catholic, so the day started off at the Christ Cathedral Arboretum in Garden Grove. It was a beautiful ceremony. My favorite part was capturing the times that Lisette looked so lovingly over at Jake and how happy they both were to be there!

Part 2: The Jewish Ceremony

Jake comes from a Jewish family, so the couple and their loved ones headed south to a beautiful venue in Aliso Viejo called Aliso Viejo Ranch. There, we took family photos and met the Rabbi, then the Jewish ceremony began. It was beautiful to see the Jewish customs, such as the chuppah they stood under, the Ketubah (wedding contract), drinking from the Kiddush cup - the cup that was gifted to Jake at his Bat Mitzvah, and of course the classic breaking of the glass!

My favorite tradition was the seven circles. The couple took a modern approach to this tradition by having both the bride and the groom circle each other. Lisette first circled Jake seven times. Then, as Jake circled Lisette, he started to kiss her during every circle. It was so cute to see!

They ended the ceremony with the breaking of the glass, and the reception promptly began.

Part 3: The Reception

After the ceremony, it was time to celebrate this beautiful milestone. We started by taking the bride and groom aside for romance photos. Their happiness was so abundantly clear, it was incredibly sweet to see how happy and in love these two are!

After that, the couple was able to join the happy hour festivities. Shortly after that, the reception began! These two danced the night away with their loved ones, it was so beautiful to see :)
